Under his management, the Sheba Medical Center Cord Blood Bank was accredited by the three prestigious international accreditations: AABB ,NMDP and FACT-NetCord. The Sheba Medical Center Cord Blood Bank is the only European Cord Blood Bank that has been accepted as a full member at the American Association of Cord Blood Banks of the NMDP.
From 1986 until 1989 Dr. Nagler served as a fellow in medicine/hematology at Stanford University School of Medicine (U.S.A.) and specialized in Bone Marrow Transplantation and immunological cellular therapy. He is a member of the American Society of Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation.
Dr. Nagler's won a myriad of awards; among his most recent are the Best Abstract Award from the American Society of Bone and Marrow Transplantation (ABSMT) and the Best Abstract from the National Marrow Donor Program Annual Meeting.
Professor Nagler is the Chairman of the Israel's Society of Bone Marrow Transplantation.
Professor Nagler received over forty grants from government, research associations, foundations and pharmaceutical companies for his ongoing research. He holds over forty patents and trademarks, has been the lead investigator on over fifteen clinical trials, is an international sought-after lecturer, and widely published.
