Dr. Moshe Israeli serves as the director of the tissue typing laboratory of the Beilinson Hospital, Rabin Medical Center in Israel. In his clinical duty Dr. Israeli is responsible for all immuno-genetic diagnostic testing of all organ and stem cell transplants carried out by the Clalit Health Services organization in Israel.
Dr. Israeli has a PhD in transplant immunology from the Bar-Ilan University and has completed a post-doctoral fellowship in the Leiden University Medical Center in the Netherlands. He has presented lectures in multiple international conferences worldwide.
Dr. Moshe Israeli has received several awards in his field of expertise, such as the Marilyn McQueen Award for an outstanding scientist on behalf of the American Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics, The Wolf Foundation Scholarship for outstanding researchers and others.
He has been a member of several international committees such as the ASHI EPT committee, World Marrow Donors Association Quality Assurance working group and the standards and QA committee of the European Federation for Immunogenetics.
Dr. Israeli has published more than 25 scientific publications in leading international scientific journals. His research focus is in immuno-genetic aspects of transplant immunology and immunogenetics of the Israeli population.
